Our Inspiration
We are both lovers of fine food and fine wine...perhaps a bit too much for our own good. We have been waiting to see Julie and Julia since we first saw the trailer. Yesterday was Julia Child's 97th birthday - what a perfect day to see the movie!! We loved it. This blog is our take on the Julie Powell adventure.
I wanted this to be our title, but it was too long and was rejected:
But...this is what it really is. We are going to each make one of the recipes in the cookbook and then compare notes. I ordered two copies of Mastering the Art of French Cooking today from amazon.com. Should have them by the end of the month. The experience will officially start then...
